Patrician houses are reserved for those who have attained the title of Free Citizen. Gabled houses are reserved for those who have attained the title of Citizen. In order to live in or build a house you must hold the title of Yeoman. The Hut is the dwelling that you start with as a Commoner. Many different families can live in a worker's hut. Some unfortunate individuals have no where to live and these people are referred to as Beggars. The type of dwelling a person lives in is determined by their title. I notice that in large dynasty games 12 or more a few of the starting dynasties get smushed early.From the lowliest Workers Hut to the grandest Palatial Mansion, most people live in a dwelling of some description.
