To give you just a taste of some of the grunts and bosses that await, Ubisoft provided IGN with a sneak peak at the big, the bad, and the ugly found on the Island of Time. Many new enemies await the Prince on his journey, far more than were seen in The Sands of Time. To save himself, the Prince sets out to find the Empress of Time, in hopes of saving his own life by ending hers. The Prince was destined to die at the start of The Sands of Time and the Dahaka intends to set things right. The Dahaka, a mystical beast created to maintain the time's natural order, is hunting the Prince.
Warrior Within opens several years after the events of The Sands of Time, with the Prince running for his life. The follow-up, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within takes the Prince into darker territory than the first. With the success of POP it was only a matter of time (say, a year), before a sequel would hit shelves. Last year, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time introduced a new generation of gamers to an old PC friend.
